Toughness is in Our DNA

There is nothing that the Tundra can’t tow with its maximum towing capacity of 12,000 pounds,1 giving you the power to move mountains. You can also navigate easily in crowded parking lots, with a number of sensors, cameras and other gadgets to keep you safe in tight areas. When talking about engine options, there is a choice between the i-FORCE 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which produces 389 horsepower and 479 pound-foot of torque, or the i-FORCE MAX 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine, which produces 437 horsepower and 583 pound-foot of torque. You can’t lose — either option for the engine is powerful enough to pull through in the clutch. Going off-roading? Try the available Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) and Crawl Control (CRAWL).2
The Tundra is capable of overcoming any obstacle as you ride safely within the cabin. The plush interior makes the ride comfortable, thanks to luxury features like available leather-trimmed and soft-touch materials all around you. The ventilated or heated seats, depending on the temperature, allow you to enjoy the climate. An available panoramic moonroof gives you the natural lighting you’ve always asked for, and a power vertical rear window lets in refreshing air to power your drive.

With the Tundra, you’ll get a 14-inch audio multimedia touchscreen that keeps you connected to the system around you. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Autoâ„¢ make sure the phone is always in reach, and your favorite music and apps are the most accessible they’ve ever been.3,4
Safety features of the Tundra include the Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), which gives you a warning when something approaches you in those hard-to-see places.5 The Trailer Merge Warning also helps you identify moving dangers to your Tundra when towing cargo. And Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) makes sure your surroundings are clear before you back out of a space.6 These extra features make the Tundra a safe option for all.

1Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. Do not exceed any Weight Ratings and follow all instructions in your Owner’s Manual. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. “Added vehicle equipment” includes additional standard/optional equipment and accessories added by the manufacturer, dealers, and/or vehicle owners. The only way to be certain of your vehicle’s exact curb weight is to weigh your vehicle without passengers or cargo. [Calculated with the new SAE J2807 method.] Installation of a tow hitch receiver or other accessories located near the rear bumper or side-door kick sensors may require disabling or removing the kick sensor, and the sensor operation setting in your vehicle should be turned off. See Owner’s Manual for limitations.
2Crawl Control is designed for driving on difficult terrain at low speeds and assists the driver by controlling acceleration and braking, allowing the driver to focus on steering. See Owner’s Manual for additional limitations and details.
